Cape KAMERS team members, Wanda and Hesta, are currently back in Pretoria with Gauteng organisers, Josene and Corlia, for product viewings, so we thought it is the perfect time to share our last photo flashback to the unforgettable KAMERS 2013 Irene. The first KAMERS Easter in Joburg takes place at The Forum Campus, Bryanston, 18-21 April and you won’t want to miss this fresh KAMERS experience in our most glamorous venue to date. We will be blogging venue pictures soon to tickle your curiosity.
For those of you who love to hear what happens behind the scenes, product viewings are the second phase of our supplier selection process. The first round consists of online applications on our website. Because of our two new shows in 2014, we had to make big shifts in our schedule and the applications for Joburg and Cape Town already closed middle January. Applications for our shows at the end of 2014 will open in March, so if you dream of being a supplier at the biggest pop-up retail event in SA, keep watching the website. For the second round of selection we invite potential suppliers to our studio in Stellenbosch or Irene office, to show us their products during an informal discussion. We are usually just as excited to see all the amazing new creative things as the suppliers are to show us their hard work. We love sharing our experience from the last 12 years, brainstorming new ideas and fine-tuning their ranges with them to make sure it is the best it could be at the shows. Giving that extra bit of support to our suppliers is extremely gratifying! Then starts the exceptionally difficult process of selecting the best of the best to fit in the available space at the venues and provide just the right product mix to make your KAMERS experience unforgettable…
