We have a fantastic lineup for our live music night at KAMERS 2013 Stellenbosch on Friday 8 November, with performances by Lonesome Dave Ferguson, Sannie Fox and The Ride adding a new musical dimension to your extended shopping experience until 20:00. The music alone would be well worth your visit and ticket, so this is another good reason not to miss KAMERS.
Lonesome Dave stands alone whipping up a live looped explosion of mesmeric grooves using only harmonica, beat-boxing and vocals. His style and sound is unique and raw. It has been loosely described as “Alt Blues and Country-Dub” Listen for yourself below.
Sannie Fox‘s sound is a mix of ballad-blues and soul music, resulting from her previous musical ventures blending psychedelic, folk, reggae and funk.
She has been part of the three-piece folk-trio, Black Betty, which later expanded into the eclectic blues-rock five-piece, known as Mama Know Nothing.
The Ride is a musical collaboration between Andre Leo, Lucas Swart and Lucy Kruger, showcasing songs from all their various projects. We really enjoyed their live performances at KAMERS 2013 Bloemfontein and look forward to having them back at KAMERS 2013 Stellenbsoch. More about them in our earlier post.
This video follows The Ride’s journey of music, friendship and the open road.
